Boring Yuppie Lifestyle was written in response to an incident on a Melbourne tram when a guy stood on his phone blocking the door for over three stops without moving. Rather than ask him to move, PLEBS songwriter Sam Jemsek opted to stay angry about it for several months, culminating in this tirade of frustration with the daily work routine.
